Nearly 200 groups urge Biden to release migrants, close detention centers before Trump arrives
Fox News
Nearly 200 migrant advocacy groups called for President Biden and Secretary Mayorkas to make sweeping moves ahead of Donald Trump's return to the White House.
"In your remaining months in office, you have an opportunity to honor your stated commitments to the dignity and humane treatment of all people, including those who immigrate to our nation…" Charles Creitz is a reporter for Fox News Digital.
Without naming President-elect Trump, the groups warned the next administration is likely to follow "through on his mass deportation plans." He joined Fox News in 2013 as a writer and production assistant.
