Olympian Dhinidhi Desinghu sets new record with three golds at National Games swimming competition.
Olympian Dhinidhi Desinghu broke the women’s 200m freestyle meet record on the opening day of the National Games swimming competition here on Wednesday.
The 15-year-old from Karnataka finished the day with three golds, including one in the women’s 4x100m freestyle relay.
Meanwhile, Srihari Nataraj defeated fellow-Olympian Sajan Prakash to take the men’s 200m freestyle gold, while the latter took the bronze.
Sajan, who was returning after a six-month break following the Olympics, finished with another bronze in the 100m butterfly, where Tamil Nadu’s Benediction Rohit won the gold.
