Her brother said that Danser, known for her reality TV appearances, "had this positive energy about her that just really filled the environment that she was in."
“Naked and Afraid” reality star Sarah Danser died following a car accident in Honolulu, Hawaii, Hawaii News Now reported Wednesday. She was 34.
Danser, who first appeared in the Discovery Channel’s survival competition franchise in 2017, was a passenger in a car whose driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a parked car Sunday night, the local news outlet said.
The reality TV star was taken to a hospital in critical condition and died Tuesday. The driver, as well as one of the two people in the parked car, were reported to be in serious condition.
Honolulu police said speed seemed to be a factor in the crash, but not drugs or alcohol, per Hawaii News Now.
After first appearing in Season 8 of “Naked and Afraid” in 2017, Danser returned the following year for “Naked and Afraid XL” and made various appearances in the TV franchise through 2021, according to the site IMDb.
