MTC resumes bus operations in Chennai, occupancy remains low

A total of 1,792 buses are being operated; based on patronage, operations may be increased, TN Transport Minister said
After many weeks, the Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) resumed operations of its bus services in Chennai on Monday, after the State government during the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown. The State government has allowed public transport operations (non air-conditioned buses) for Chennai, Kancheepuram, Chengalpattu and Tiruvallur with 50% seating occupancy.More Related News
