Msheireb townhouses Majlis awarded prestigious LEED Gold Green Building Certification

Msheireb Properties, the national real estate developer and a subsidiary of Qatar Foundation, yesterday announced that five townhouse Majlis at Msheireb Downtown Doha have been awarded LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold Certificates, developed by the US Green Building Council, which is the most widely used green building rating system in the world and an international symbol of excellence.
The LEED Gold Certification awarded to the townhouses Majlis add to the existing 32 LEED Platinum and other 37 LEED Gold Certificates for buildings and projects in Msheireb Downtown Doha, making the destination with one of the highest concentrations of LEED-certified sustainable buildings.
This also adds to the credentials of Msheireb Downtown Doha as the world’s first sustainable downtown regeneration project.
