Mike Richards to remain 'Jeopardy!' producer, take sensitivity training: report

Mike Richards will take sensitivity training and remain a producer on “Jeopardy!” despite recently losing his hosting gig, according to a new report.
After it was reported that Richards was a frontrunner to take over the position, several scandals came to light, most notably his demoralizing comments made about women, Jewish people and the unemployed community previously made on a podcast. He was also named in a discrimination lawsuit while working as a producer on "The Price is Right." Not long after, he stepped down from the position, "Jeopardy!" had slightly signaled that he’d retain his position as an executive producer. In a statement earlier this week, Sony had said, "Mike has been with us for the last two years and has led the Jeopardy! team through the most challenging time the show has ever experienced. It is our hope that as EP he will continue to do so with professionalism and respect."More Related News
