Merge Jana Sena Party with BJP, Congress leader Thulasi Reddy tells Pawan Kalyan. In Andhra Pradesh, BJP means ‘Babu, Jagan and Pawan’, as they have always been pawns in the hands of the saffron party, says the Congress leader.
Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) official spokesperson N. Thulasi Reddy on Saturday advised Jana Sena Party (JSP) president K. Pawan Kalyan to merge his party with the BJP.
Addressing the media at the party office here, Mr. Thulasi Reddy said the Congress party had maintained from the beginning that the BJP in Andhra Pradesh means “Babu, Jagan and Pawan.”
“They have always been pawns in the BJP’s hands, and this has been proved at the JSP’s plenary in Pithapuram on Friday,” he said.
Mr. Thulasi Reddy ridiculed the JSP chief’s claim that he was not after any position and that he was driven by ideological strength. “If you do not have any desire for position, why are you holding the post of the Deputy Chief Minister and why MLC position for your brother Nagababu?” he asked.
