A special court convicted and sentenced a 51-year-old man to life for raping his daughter-in-law. His wife was also convicted for abetment and sentenced to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment. Police said the victim was staying with her husband’s family in north Chennai. According to the prosecution, her father-in-law spiked the drinks he gave her. She was raped by him repeatedly. Her mother-in-law, husband and sister-in-law were alleged to have abetted the crime.More Related News
