Laura Ingraham brazenly mocked the thousands of federal workers laid off by President Donald Trump and his billionaire adviser Elon Musk’s so-called Department of Government Efficiency.
On Monday’s edition of “The Ingraham Angle,” the Fox News host began by questioning how Democrats would reinvigorate their party following last year’s election loss to Trump.
“How do you resurrect your party, though, by protecting red tape and the bureaucracy?” Ingraham asked of DOGE’s critics. “By trying to gin up sympathy for federal workers who need to get real jobs in the real world like most of America. Ever heard of it?”
She also questioned why Democrats think “Americans will stop liking Trump because he fires these people.” However, recent polling suggests that approval ratings for Trump and his tech mogul ally are indeed dipping.
Ingraham also rebuked National Labor Relations Board field examiner M.T. Snyder for “whining” about Musk’s email on Saturday ordering millions of government employees to explain what they did at work last week. Musk suggested on X that those who did not respond would be forced to resign.
