Jodie Foster turned down 'Star Wars' role as Princess Leia

Jodie Foster confirmed that she was asked to play Princess Leia in "Star Wars," but she had to turn the role down. She joked she might have made the character's famous hair different.

Speaking in an interview on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," she continued, "I just didn't want to pull out of the Disney movie because I was already under contract. So I didn't do it. And they, you know, did an amazing job."
