Jodi Shaw speaks out on Smith College resignation after White staff dubbed bigots in 'eating while Black' case
Fox News
On Monday's "Tucker Carlson Today," former Smith College employee Jodi Shaw discussed the dangerous rise of wokeness and how the left's intent to divide people – in her case based on her race – makes it "impossible to have a healthy community" in many places.
At the time, the local ACLU characterized the encounter as Kanoute being questioned for the crime of "eating while Black." Kanoute accused the pair of campus employees of racially profiling her and posted pictures on social media accusing them of being racist. The janitor she named wasn't working that day. Smith College, however, went on to force the pair to undergo anti-bias training and apologize to Kanoute. Further investigation found them to be wrongly accused and that Kanoute was indeed dining in a closed area. Shaw, who is a "lifelong liberal" and was a staffer making less than $50,000 per year at the institution, according to the New York Post, resigned her job because being branded a racist based only on her skin color didn't sit well with her.More Related News
