Jimmy Fallon Shows How Trump Can Easily Defy His New Executive Order

The "Tonight Show" host imagined the president dodging his English-only edict in a very specific situation.
Jimmy Fallon on Monday spotted how President Donald Trump could conveniently dodge his executive order making English the official language of the United States.
Trump issued the edict on Saturday but “The Tonight Show” host already recognized a loophole the president could exploit in case of trouble.
“Trump just signed an executive order making English the official language of the U.S.,” the comedian announced in his monologue. “Then he was asked about bringing down the price of eggs, and he was like, ‘No hablo inglés.’”
(Fast-forward to 3:53 for the host’s egg-cellent quip.)
In any language, costs are rising and Trump’s enforcement of 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico won’t help.
