Elon Musk doesn’t seem to be giving Donald Trump much space, and Jimmy Fallon cracked that the president-elect is going to get fed up.
“Last night, President-elect Trump hosted Jeff Bezos at Mar-a-Lago,” Fallon said on “The Tonight Show” Thursday. “But an hour into the dinner, Elon Musk showed up and sat between them at the table.
“Even Trump was like, ‘OK, this is actually starting to freak me out. OK, you gotta get a friend,’” he quipped.
“To settle who he loves more, Elon and Bezos are gonna put Trump down the middle of the room and see who he goes to first.”
Trump dined with Amazon billionaire Bezos and his fiancée Lauren Sanchez at his Florida resort on Wednesday. Musk was not expected to be part of the meeting but joined the meal as it was already underway, The New York Times reported. A guest at Mar-a-Lago claimed that Musk sat between Trump and Bezos, according to the Daily Beast.
