Jimmy Butler wants out of Miami with Heat listening to trade offers
NY Post
Jimmy Butler’s days with the Heat appear to be numbered.
The six-time All-Star prefers to be traded away from the team ahead of the Feb. 6 deadline, according to ESPN.
The Heat are willing to listen to trade offers for Butler, the outlet added.
Butler, 35, is on the books for $49 million this year with a $52 million player option for next year.
Potential suitors have been informed that Butler intends to decline that option in order to become a free agent, per the report.
Multiple teams have reportedly already reached out to the Heat, and Butler is open to the Suns, Warriors, Mavericks and Rockets among others.
There’s a whole lot crammed into 100 years of playing the game. That span means the Giants have been there, done that, time and again, over and over. Everything has passed through their gates. Great triumphs. Abject failure. The winds of change and the stillness of sameness. Championship moments. Despair in the air.
