Invest in Telangana, MP Chamala urges Australian NRIs

Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy highlights Telangana's progress under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, inviting Indian diaspora to invest.

Member of Parliament from Bhongir constituency in Telangana, Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy explained how Telangana was rising with the priorities of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy focussed on farmers and youngsters, who he said were ignored during the 10 years of the Bharath Rashtriya Smita (BRS) rule.

Mr. Reddy, who was speaking to the Indian diaspora at Sydney, Australia on Saturday (January 18, 2025) at a ‘Meet and Greet’ programme organised by the Indian Overseas Congress (IOC). He invited the Indian Australians and the NRIs to look at Telangana as their investment destination given the new initiatives like Future City, Young India Skills University and the IT sector that is attracting huge investments.

The Parliament member said the Congress government led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had attracted ₹40,000 crores at the World Economic Forum conference in Davos, Switzerland last year reflecting the confidence of investors.

He also echoed Rahul Gandhi’s efforts to save the Constitution of India, which he said was under threat during the Modi government’s rule. Indians overseas can play a huge role in saving the cultural and secular values that India was known for worldwide. Unfortunately, they are under attack, he alleged.
