Indiana House GOP candidate arrested on eve of election

A Republican candidate for Indiana’s House of Representatives was arrested on the eve of his election for allegedly violating a protection order, according to the Lafayette Journal & Courier.
He was placed in the jail at around 6:30 a.m., the outlet reports. He is no longer listed on the jail’s inmate roster. Michael Dorgan is a writer for Fox News Digital and Fox Business.

Schenke has two protection orders against him from a local attorney and their staff. Schenke also has a protection order against a man who lives in his West Lafayette neighborhood, the Lafayette Journal & Courier reports, citing the state registry.
