In photos: Rover leaves 'China's imprint' on Mars

China is the second country to land and operate a spacecraft on Mars, after the United States.
The dusty, rocky Martian surface and bearing small national flags were seen in photos released on Friday that the rover took on the red planet. The four pictures released by the China National Space Administration also show the upper stage of the and the view from the rover before it rolled off its platform. In a study published in the journal Mammalian Biology on December 23, 2024, researchers compared the calls of Asian elephants based on their age, sex, and behaviour. They found the duration of trumpets remained fairly consistent across all age classes for both male and female Asian elephants but roars and roar-rumbles got longer with age.
