Harvey Weinstein had a few thoughts on Adrien Brody shouting out to the fallen film mogul’s children during his Oscars speech.
Brody celebrated his Best Actor win for “The Brutalist” with a record-length address that veered to his serious relationship with Weinstein’s ex-wife, Georgina Chapman. Weinstein and fashion designer Chapman share two children from their marriage, which crumbled in 2017 as sexual misconduct allegations multiplied against Weinstein at the peak of the Me Too movement. Their divorce was finalized in 2021.
Brody and Chapman have been “romantically linked” since 2019, People reported.
“I share this with my amazing partner, Georgina, who has not only reinvigorated my own self worth but my sense of value and my values, and her beautiful children, Dash and India,” Brody said at Sunday’s Oscars. (Watch at 4:08 in the clip below.)
He then hinted at their domestic life together, saying: “I know it’s been a roller coaster, but thank you for accepting me into your life, and Popsy’s coming home a winner.”
