• Hamas has freed three more hostages in the latest round of releases under the ceasefire deal with Israel. Among the group are US-Israeli Keith Siegel and Yarden Bibas, the father of the youngest hostage taken captive during the October 7, 2023, attacks. • Following the release of the three hostages, Israel freed nearly 200 Palestinian prisoners. Some were carried aloft by jubilant crowds in the occupied West Bank, while others were immediately taken to hospital. • There was a heavy Hamas presence in Gaza City when Siegel was released but Saturday’s exchanges have been smooth. The last round of releases was marred by chaotic scenes, prompting complaints from Israel. • For the first time in nine months, the Rafah Crossing between Gaza and Egypt opened up, as part of the ceasefire deal. Dozens of sick patients were allowed out, with live video showing patients being transferred on stretchers. Our live coverage of the hostage and prisoner releases has concluded for today. Saturday saw Hamas release three Israeli hostages in exchange for 183 Palestinian prisoners in the fourth round of exchanges. You can read more of our coverage here.
