GOP Senator Rand Paul Says He Won't Get COVID-19 Vaccine

The Republican lawmaker's decision flies in the face of guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said he won’t get a COVID-19 vaccine amid a massive effort by the White House and medical experts to get more Americans vaccinated against the deadly disease. Paul, speaking to radio host John Catsimatidis on WABC 77 AM on Wednesday, said he’s choosing not to get vaccinated because he contracted the coronavirus back in March 2020. He was the first senator to test positive for COVID-19. “Until they show me evidence that people who have already had the infection are dying in large numbers, or being hospitalized or getting very sick, I just made my own personal decision that I’m not getting vaccinated because I’ve already had the disease and I have natural immunity,” Paul said.More Related News
