Although the child fainted as the Republican governor signed the bill into law, he appeared unaware of what was happening directly behind him.
Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry just signed a bill requiring that the biblical Ten Commandments be displayed in the state’s public school classrooms, but the signing ceremony apparently wasn’t for the faint of heart.
Video of Thursday’s ceremony shows what appears to be a middle school student fainting as the governor signs the bill into law.

Meanwhile, the Republican governor appears unaware of what is happening behind him.
