Ex-Trump Aide Spots How Kamala Harris May Bait Donald Trump Into Second Debate

Alyssa Farah Griffin said it was “incredibly smart politics” from the vice president.
Democratic nominee Kamala Harris’ call for a second debate with GOP rival Donald Trump — immediately after their first one wrapped on Tuesday — was “incredibly smart politics,” former Trump White House communications director Alyssa Farah Griffin told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer.
It put Republican nominee Trump “on the defensive, a place he doesn’t like to be,” Griffin explained Thursday. “So, I actually think there’s a world in which he tries to flip the narrative and agree to another debate,” Griffin added.
Trump boldly declared himself the winner of the televised matchup, despite even multiple conservative commentators claiming otherwise.
The former president has refused to go head-to-head with Harris again.
But Griffin said not to rule it out and explained exactly why she believes Trump may be tempted back onto the debate stage.
