Beyoncé Postpones Mysterious Jan. 14 Announcement Due To LA Fires

The superstar singer shared that she donated $2.5 million on behalf of the BeyGood foundation to relief funds.
Beyoncé is postponing her highly anticipated mystery announcement that was scheduled to be shared Jan. 14 due to the devastating and ongoing wildfires in the Los Angeles area.
The superstar singer, 43, posted a statement on Instagram to reveal the delay.
“The January 14th announcement will be postponed to a later date due to the devastation caused by the ongoing wildfires around areas of Los Angeles. I continue to pray for healing and rebuilding for the families suffering from trauma and loss,” Beyoncé wrote. “We are so blessed to have brave first responders who continue to work tirelessly to protect the Los Angeles community.”
The “Texas Hold ’Em” singer added in the caption that her BeyGood foundation has set up an LA Fire Relief Fund and donated $2.5 million to “directly support families who lost their homes and community organizations at the forefront of relief.”
“Please join us in supporting with whatever you can,” she added.
