Elvis Presley’s granddaughter ignored mom Lisa Marie’s warnings about showbiz
Fox News
Riley Keough says that her mother Lisa Marie Presley tried to warn her against pursuing fame, saying that she was told that she'd have to be better because of her family heritage.
"I’m sure being Elvis’s granddaughter has made it easier for me to get an agent, to have meetings and all this stuff, when I started out." Emily Trainham is an entertainment editor for Fox News Digital.
In a new interview with Elle UK, Keough explained that after her parents learned of her ambitions to be a performer, they tried to talk her out of it — although they clearly weren't successful.
