An attorney representing Ashley St. Clair said the Tesla founder had also filed an emergency gag order against her client, but was denied.
An attorney representing MAGA influencer Ashley St. Clair said Elon Musk has substantially reduced his financial support towards the child the couple allegedly shares after St. Clair petitioned for a paternity test.
“Elon Musk has financially retaliated against his own child and reduced his financial support substantially and unilaterally,” Karen Rosenthal said in a statement shared with HuffPost via a spokesperson. “He did this after Ashley was forced to bring this matter to court, when he refused to respond to her many private attempts to resolve this matter without publicity.”
Rosenthal confirmed with HuffPost directly that Musk’s “attorneys have finally accepted service of legal documents.”
St. Clair, 26, filed two petitions against Musk last month seeking a court-ordered paternity test and sole custody of the 6-month-old she claims she shares with the Tesla CEO.
She alleged in court filings reviewed by HuffPost at the time that Musk had “acknowledged parentage of the child in various written correspondences,” but only spent a total of three hours with the baby, identified as “R.S.C” in the filings.
