Blessed be the finale.
Elisabeth Moss shared her thoughts on the final season of “The Handmaid’s Tale,” revealing her gut reaction when she first read the finale script.
Speaking to the press at the Hulu show’s sixth and last season premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Wednesday, April 2, in Hollywood, California, the actress said she had mixed emotions when she got her hands on the scripts for Episodes 9 and 10.
“Can I swear?” she responded when asked for her first thoughts. “Holy s–t. And tears, lots of tears on the last one.”
Moss elaborated that while she was blown away by the final season of the hit show, “Holy s–t was on nine. Yeah, big one.”
She hasn’t just starred as the rebel June Osborne since the beginning of the series. Moss has directed several episodes of “The Handmaid’s Tale” over the show’s almost eight-year run, including the last two in the finale series.
