Egg shortages force some grocery stores to impose limits

With parts of the country seeing a shortage of eggs, some stores are limiting customers to purchasing only a certain number of cartons to preserve supply. The American Egg Board weighed in.
"Specialty egg brands, including cage-free, free-range and organic, do not have limitations at this time at Lidl US," Lidl told News 12. "We expect any shortages to be localized and short-lived." Christine Rousselle is a lifestyle reporter with Fox News Digital.
Some customers in parts of Massachusetts were also subject to a two-carton limit, as Reddit users shared on a message board in late January.
