
Drake Bell pleads guilty to criminal charges involving a minor

Former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell on Wednesday pleaded guilty to two charges involving a minor at a court hearing in Ohio.
Bell, wearing a dark suit and pink shirt and tie, pleaded guilty to one count of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles and one count of attempted child endangering. The child actor was informed by the judge that attempted child endangering, a felony of the fourth degree, carries a maximum sentence of anywhere between six to 18 months in prison and/or a fine of up to $5,000. Disseminating matter harmful to juveniles is a first-degree misdemeanor and carries a sentence of up to six months in county jail and/or a fine of up to $1,000. McCormick informed Bell that prison time is not mandatory but if he does go to prison he'd be subjected to a discretionary period of three years post-release control upon his release.More Related News
