Did Emma Stone call Jimmy Kimmel a ‘pr–k’ at the 2024 Oscars? Here’s what she whispered to her husband
NY Post
She was unimpressed.
Emma Stone, 35, who won Best Actress for her performance in “Poor Things” at the 2024 Oscars, beating the expected winner, Lily Gladstone, in an upset, didn’t appear pleased by host Jimmy Kimmel’s sex joke.
In his opening monologue, Kimmel, 56, played a short clip from Stone’s film and cracked, “Those were all the parts of ‘Poor Things’ that we’re allowed to show on TV,” referring to the movie’s steamy R-rated content.
Stone could be seen in the audience, turning to her husband, comedian and writer Dave McCary, whom she married in 2020. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Louise, in 2021.
It looked like Stone rolled her eyes and said, “Oh my God” to her husband after Kimmel’s joke.
But other viewers online thought she said to her husband, “What a pr – – k,” referring to Kimmel.
