A Detroit judge who ordered a drowsy teenager on a field trip to court to wear jail clothes and handcuffs after falling asleep has been temporarily removed from the bench.
The teenage girl’s mother, Latoreya Till, told the Detroit Free Press the judge was "a big bully," adding, "My daughter is hurt. She is feeling scared." Greg Wehner is a breaking news reporter for Fox News Digital.
Till said her daughter was on a field trip to the courthouse organized by The Greening of Detroit, an environmental group. Story tips and can be sent to Greg.Wehner@Fox.com and on Twitter @GregWehner.
