Democratic Lawmaker Trolls Trump With Snarky Twist On 'President Elon' Diss

According to Rep. Dan Goldman, Trump might not even rank as high as vice president under Elon Musk.
Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) lobbed an insult that would almost certainly get under Donald Trump’s skin on Thursday after Elon Musk helped tank a Republican government spending bill the day before.
Wednesday’s development led Democrats to suggest the Tesla CEO is Trump’s “shadow president,” and prompted “President Musk” to trend on the billionaire’s X social media platform.
Goldman suggested Trump might fall even lower in the pecking order during an appearance on MSNBC’s “All In With Chris Hayes.” Hayes had called Trump and Musk “the two co-presidents-elect.”
“We need to face the reality: Right now, we have President Elon Musk,” Goldman said. “And Donald Trump, maybe he’s vice president. I guess vice presidents don’t do much, so that makes sense. He might be the chief of staff.”
Goldman argued that Musk “has no idea how government operates or how government runs” and has “his own very self-interested view of everything.”
