Cult leader who claimed to ‘channel spirits’ of Jesus, Trump and Freddie Mercury dies

Ryuho Okawa claimed he could channel the spirits of any person, living or dead, and he published his revelations and conversations in books that he sold worldwide.

Okawa had remained a controversial figure for most of his life, claiming to have received "Messages of God" and to have the ability to channel the spirits of the rich and famous.
