President Donald Trump on Thursday offered a first look at his $5 million “gold card,” a pathway to U.S. citizenship that he looks to sell to wealthy foreign nationals.
The president, while speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, showed off the gold card which features his face, the Statue of Liberty and a bald eagle on it.
“For $5 million, this could be yours,” said Trump as he waved the card around in front of the press gaggle.
When asked who the “first buyer” would be, he replied, “Me, I’m the first.”
He added that he doesn’t know who the second buyer would be before estimating that the card would come out “in about less two weeks.”
