Crimes against Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) rose by over 8% each in Odisha in 2020 in comparison to the previous year, according to the (NCRB).

The country saw a rise of 9.4 % in crimes against SCs and 9.3% in atrocities against STs, the ‘Crime in India 2020’ report, which was published on Tuesday, stated.
