Over one crore doses administered on Tuesday
India on Tuesday administered more than 1.09 crore COVID-vaccine doses, which the Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted “is a new vaccination milestone.” In total over 65 crore doses have been administered so far in the country. India had achieved the for the first time on August 27. In his tweet, Mr Mandaviya said: “Congratulations, as India administers another one crore COVID19 vaccinations today. As the November 30 deadline nears for installing vehicle location tracking devices (VLTD) and emergency panic buttons in public service and nationally permitted goods vehicles in Karnataka, transport unions representing cab, bus, and truck operators are urging the government to reconsider the mandate.
