Harry Enten said the metric could explain the vice president's "sharpening attacks" against Donald Trump.
CNN’s senior political data reporter Harry Enten warned that Kamala Harris’ campaign is going in the “wrong direction” on Friday after new polls show her popularity is no longer rising.
“The momentum of Kamala Harris has stalled,” Enten told CNN’s Kate Bolduan.
Enten pointed to polling numbers that show the vice president with a net favorability rating of -15 points in the days prior to her campaign announcement back in July.
That figure rose to -4 points in August and later reached +1 points in September before falling back to -1 points this month.
Bolduan, earlier in the segment, noted that Harris has noticeably been “really sharpening attacks” against Donald Trump in recent weeks and spoken about him in “darker tones.”
