A Charlotte, North Carolina, shootout that left three U.S. Marshals Task Force officers and one CMPD officer dead and four other officers injured on Monday has left residence in shock.
"There were just an enormous amount of gunshots and people in our yard and people hiding behind vehicles. Firemen hiding behind firetrucks. It was wild," a neighbor who wanted to be identified only as Sarah told Fox News Digital. "It's really tragic. Those folks go to work every day to protect us." "It's a fairly safe neighborhood.
