'Can't Be Trusted': Sen. Adam Schiff Demands Resignations Of Trump Scandal Figures

The California Democrat named the administration officials who should quit or be fired after accidentally revealing highly classified information to a journalist.
Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) is calling on the key figures at the heart of the group messaging scandal to resign ― and if they won’t go on their own, he said President Donald Trump should fire them.
“Beyond negligent, it’s just arrogant,” he told the MeidasTouch Network. ”[They] feel they can do whatever they want. There’s no accountability.”
National security adviser Michael Waltz reportedly added Jeffrey Goldberg, editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, by accident to a group chat in the Signal app in which leading officials discussed classified war plans in Yemen and other highly sensitive matters.
The group chat also included Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, and billionaire Steve Witkoff, who is Trump’s envoy to Ukraine and the Middle East, among others.
“None of them apparently bothered to say, ‘hey, folks, we shouldn’t be talking about this shit in a commercial chat on a commercial app,’” he said. “This is the most negligent handling of highly sensitive information.”
