The Indiana Fever guard went hard in the paint during Saturday's game against the New York Liberty.
Caitlin Clark continues to prove her worth — and just broke two records in one game.
The 22-year-old Indiana Fever guard aided the team’s fourth-quarter comeback Saturday against the New York Liberty by becoming the first rookie in WNBA history to net a “triple-double” — and with just 22 games played, she’s now the fastest player to net 350 points and 150 assists.
The previous record-holder, Sue Bird, accomplished the latter feat in 25 games in 2002.
Getting a “triple-double” means scoring double-digits in three of five categories — assists, blocks, points, rebounds and steals — in a single game. Clark on Saturday netted 19 points, 13 assists and 12 rebounds.
The Fever ultimately won 83-78, after an impressive comeback from 11 points down.
