Black conservative father and faith leader homeschools 6 kids to 'get God in': 'What could be more important?'
Fox News
Lauren Green, Fox News Channel's chief religion correspondent, spoke with Abraham Hamilton of the American Family Association, who shares why he and his wife are homeschooling their 6 children.
He asks, "What kind of system of instruction can you have, calling it education, but intentionally and systematically denies the knowledge of God?" This has been a centuries-long effort to transform the United States of America, said Hamilton. Public school students are denied the knowledge that "the reason why Isaac Newton experimented was because of what he read in the Bible." Lauren Green currently serves as Fox News Channel's (FNC) chief religion correspondent based in the New York bureau. She joined FNC in 1996. Her new book is "Lighthouse Faith: God as a Living Reality in a World Immersed in Fog." She is host of Fox News Digital's "Spirited Debate."
Hamilton is general counsel and public policy analyst for the American Family Association. He's an African-American conservative — which makes him a huge target for liberals.
