BJP nominates N. Goutham Rao for Hyderabad MLC poll after consultations, accuses Congress and BRS of aligning with AIMIM.
The BJP has nominated N. Goutham Rao as its candidate for the Hyderabad Local Authorities constituency MLC poll scheduled to be held on April 23.
Party vice president and former MLA Ch. Ramachandra Reddy informed the media on Friday that the candidate was chosen following extensive consultations conducted by former MLC N. Ramchander Rao with corporators, party leaders, MPs and Union ministers.
The central command was later apprised of the discussions upon which the candidate name was announced. He has accused the Congress and BRS parties bowing to the AIMIM for getting its support while the latter has always aligned with the ruling party for its vested interests.
