Bill Hader once got fired from his movie theater job for a reason so funny, even his boss couldn’t make eye contact with him.
The “Saturday Night Live” alum shared the hilarious story during an appearance on his former co-worker’s Netflix show, “Everybody’s Live With John Mulaney.”
“I got fired from a movie theater for ruining the end of ‘Titanic,’” Hader said on the show Wednesday, as the audience laughed. “I was working in a movie theater, and ‘Titanic’ hadn’t come out yet, and a sorority had bought out the movie theater to watch ‘Titanic.’”
“And [the sorority girls] were in the doorway and I was going, ‘Hey, guys. Can you guys move?’” Hader said, adding that the girls “were making fun of me.”
“They said I looked like Charles Manson, which I kinda did,” Hader said. “I had a little bowtie on and a cummerbund, and I was like, ‘Hey guys, please move.’ And they were like, ‘No.’”
