Doha, Qatar: Baladna announced the opening of the nominations for membership on the Board of Directors for the upcoming three years (November 2024 to November 2027). There will be a total of nine (9) members, consisting of six (6) non-independent members and three (3) independent members.

Nominations will be open for a period of five (5) days, starting from the morning of Sunday, October 13, 2024, until Thursday, October 17, 2024, inclusive, from 8am to 5pm at the Company’s headquarters. The members will be elected at the General Assembly Meeting scheduled for November 24, 2024. This is in accordance with the provisions of the Commercial Companies Law No. (11) of 2015, the Corporate Governance Regulations for listed companies issued by the Board of Directors of the Qatar Financial Markets Authority No. (5) of 2016, and the Company’s Articles of Association.

It added that those wishing to nominate themselves for membership on the Board of Directors are to submit their nomination applications along with all required documents at the Company’s headquarters located in Al Khor and Al Thakhira during working hours (from 8am to 5pm) throughout the nomination period. Nomination applications should be delivered to the Legal Affairs Department at the Company’s headquarters.
