Authorities rule NFL Draft prospect Kyren Lacy died in apparent suicide

As previously suspected, former star LSU wide receiver Kyren Lacy’s death has been ruled a suicide, according to a Harrison County sheriff’s report released on Sunday.
Lacy was found dead Saturday night in Houston at just 24 years old.
He was in his car being pursued by authorities before he crashed, the police department’s report said, ending the pursuit. When authorities approached Lacy’s vehicle, they determined he had died in an apparent suicide.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, Lacy’s father, Kenny, adjured parents to stay in touch with their children regarding their mental health.
“Young parents, start talking to your kids at a very early age and make sure they are confident and comfortable confiding in you,” Lacy’s father wrote. “Don’t be cool with ‘I’m Alright, or I’m good’ when you know deep down something isn’t right. Mental Health is real, and for the most part, it’s invisible, don’t ignore the signs, even if they may seem small.”
Lacy spent two years at Louisiana before finishing his college football career at LSU.
