Aubrey Plaza Breaks Silence On Her Husband's Sudden Death

“This is an unimaginable tragedy," the actor said in a statement with her late husband's family.
Actor Aubrey Plaza addressed her husband Jeff Baena’s death in a joint statement with his family Monday, two days after officials announced his sudden passing.
“This is an unimaginable tragedy. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has offered support,” the statement from Plaza and Baena’s family read. “Please respect our privacy during this time.”
Baena, a screenwriter and director known for his work on independent films, died by suicide, the Los Angeles County medical examiner determined. He was 47.
Plaza, who got her big break in “Parks and Recreation” and starred in the most recent season of “The White Lotus,” was slated to present at Sunday night’s Golden Globes ceremony but did not attend.
The couple began dating in 2011 and married in 2021. They collaborated on various projects, including “The Little Hours” and “Life After Beth,” which were directed by Baena and starred Plaza.
Helping the millions of Americans who ran up bills because they were uninsured or couldn't cover out-of-pocket costs was one of her big causes as vice president.
"The Daily Show" host also joked that a "blanket of angry white" again descended on the U.S. Capitol four years later.
“This is an unimaginable tragedy," the actor said in a statement with her late husband's family.
“Greenland is ours,” Múte Egede, the island's prime minister, reiterated in a statement last month.
Four years after his incitement of a violent attack on the U.S. Capitol, Trump still has shown no remorse about his conduct.
Nebraska Sen. Deb Fischer's husband also appeared to refuse eye contact with the vice president.
The U.S. president-elect was in troll mode as he said many Canadians "love being the 51st state."
The former New York City mayor could be held in contempt again later this week when he appears in a different courtroom in Washington, D.C.
