An untitled new Malayalam film, starring Kishkindha Kaandam-star Asif Ali and All We Imagine As Light star Divya Prabha, went on floors on Wednesday. The film is directed by Thamar KV, who made his debut with 1001 Nunakal.
Thamar posted a picture of the clapboard of the film on his Instagram handle to announce the news.
Also starring Deepak Parambol and Orhan in pivotal roles, the upcoming film is set to have the Gulf countries as the backdrop.
The film will have music scored by Govind Vasantha and cinematography by Aeyaz. Other details regarding the film’s cast and crew remain unknown at the moment. The yet-untitled film is produced by Ajith Vinayaka.
Meanwhile, Asif, last seen in Kishkindha Kaandam and Level Cross, has Tiki Taka, Abhyanthara Kuttavali and a sequel to Thalavan in different stages of development.
Divya is currently in the limelight for her performance in the globally acclaimed All We Imagine As Light, directed by Payal Kapadia. Also starring Kani Kusruti and Chhaya Kadam, the film won the Grand Prix, the second-highest award at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year.
