
Amid war, Ukraine refugees flee with their pets despite the travel risks

While some Ukrainian families have made the hard decision to leave pets behind as they take refuge from the Russian attacks on their country, others are evacuating with their animals no matter the risk.

These daring evacuations are taking place as Russian forces continue to shell Ukrainian cities and more than 2.5 million people have left the country.
