A new video shows why Donald Trump’s running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), has struggled to get laughs when telling jokes at his campaign appearances.
His material isn’t very good.
The comedy duo of Davram Stiefler and Jason Selvig ― aka The Good Liars, known for their pranks at Trump rallies ― tested out one of Vance’ most awkward jokes on fans at a MAGA event.

But even with an actual comic telling the joke, it didn’t really pay off:
