5,963 new infections, 27 deaths reported in 24 hours
The State reported 27 deaths, the highest daily toll in six months, and 5,963 new infections in the 24 hours ending Monday morning. The toll reached126 deaths reported in the past one week indicating a rise in the death rate which stands at 0.77%. The total number of COVID-19 cases so far has increased to he number of recoveries also increased to as 2,569 patients had overcome the infection in the past day.
