Aaron Rodgers open to an unfamiliar role as he stares down Jets uncertainty
NY Post
Aaron Rodgers wasn’t the savior of the Jets, and now he has been forced to ponder saving himself and whatever remains of his Hall of Fame career.
He revealed Thursday that he would be amenable to serving as a bridge quarterback for the 2025 Jets — if Woody Johnson and the next regime would want him back.
“If they ask me back and they drafted a guy, I’d mentor the hell out of him if I was playing, and I’d try and play as well as I could to keep him on the bench,” Rodgers said.
He has faced uncertainty in his career … just never at age 41, and never after a season such as this one.
